Learners in grades 10 to 12 will develop their Kusasa modelling projects using Python, an easy-to-learn programming language.
What Kusasa will do with Python is similar to what it will do with Squeak: enable any learner to use a computer to make animated models of things that are personally interesting to them, and things they are learning about in their other subjects.
Teachers will not require knowledge of computer science to facilitate Kusasa projects. The projects are being designed so that learners can mentor one another, and teachers can facilitate the learning process.
